Section 33. Cognizance of offences
No court may take cognizance of any offence under this Act or its rules except on a written complaint by the Apprenticeship Adviser (or an officer of the rank of Deputy Apprenticeship Adviser or above), made within six months of the date the offence is alleged to have been committed.
Note: Amended by Act 4 of 1997, with effect from 8 January 1997, to permit complaints by officers of Deputy Apprenticeship Adviser rank and above.
