Section 3B. Reservation of training places for Other Backward Classes in designated trades
(1) In every designated trade, the employer must reserve training places for Other Backward Classes; where an establishment has more than one designated trade, reservation is also based on the total number of apprentices across all designated trades in that establishment.
(2) The number of reserved places is prescribed, having regard to the OBC population of the State concerned.
Note: Inserted by Act 36 of 2007, with effect from 1 February 2008.
