Carriage by Air Act, 1972 – Table of Contents

The Carriage by Air Act, 1972 (Act No. 69 of 1972) gives effect to the Warsaw Convention (1929), the Hague Protocol (1955), and the Montreal Convention (1999) governing international air carriage of passengers, baggage, and cargo, and extends these rules to domestic (non-international) carriage as well.

Note: Section 9 was repealed by the Repealing and Amending Act, 1978, with effect from 26 November 1978, and is no longer part of the Act.
