Article 372A. Power of the President to adapt laws
(1) For the purpose of facilitating the application of any law made before the commencement of the Constitution (Seventh Amendment) Act, 1956, in relation to the States affected by the reorganisation of States, the President may by order make such adaptations and modifications of the law, whether by way of repeal or amendment, as may be necessary or expedient, and provide that the law shall have effect subject to the adaptations and modifications so made until altered, repealed or amended by a competent Legislature or other competent authority.
(2) The provisions of clause (2) of article 372 shall apply in relation to any order made under clause (1) of this article as they apply in relation to an order made under clause (2) of that article.
