140A. Application of section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958
Nothing in section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (corresponding to the probation provisions of the current Code), or in the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958, applies to a person convicted of an offence under this Act unless he is under eighteen years of age.
