159. Rules, certain notifications and orders to be laid before Parliament

Every rule made under this Act, every notification issued under section 11B, 25(1), 25(2A), 25A, 25B, 26A, 28A or 156(2)(d), and every order made under section 25(2) (before the specified amending Act) or having retrospective effect, shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made/issued, before each House of Parliament while it is in session, for a total period of thirty days, which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions; if, before the expiry of the session in which it is so laid or the session immediately following, both Houses agree in making any modification, or agree the rule/notification/order should not be made/issued, it shall thereafter have effect only in the modified form, or shall have no effect, as the case may be, without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under it.
