31. Imported goods not to be unloaded from vessel until entry inwards granted
- The master of a vessel shall not permit unloading of imported goods until the proper officer has granted entry inwards to the vessel.
- No such order shall be given until an arrival/import manifest has been delivered, or the officer is satisfied there was sufficient cause for not delivering it.
- This section does not apply to unloading of baggage accompanying a passenger or crew member, mail bags, animals, perishable goods and hazardous goods.
