61. Prohibition against discrimination
While providing relief to the victims of disaster, there shall be no discrimination on the ground of sex, caste, community, descent or religion.
The words “compensation and” were omitted before “relief” by the Disaster Management (Amendment) Act, 2025 (10 of 2025), s. 37, w.e.f. 9-4-2025.
