Section 87. Members, officers of Food Authority and Commissioner of Food Safety to be public servants
The Members and officers of the Food Authority, and the Commissioners of Food Safety and their officers, are deemed public servants within the meaning of Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code when acting or purporting to act under this Act.
