Section 90. Transfer of existing employees of Central Government Agencies governing various food related Acts or Orders to Food Authority
From the date the Food Authority is established, every employee holding office under the Central Government agencies that administered food laws immediately before that date shall hold office in the Food Authority on the same tenure and terms of service — including remuneration, leave, provident fund, retirement and other terminal benefits — as they would have held had the Food Authority not been established, and shall continue as an employee of the Food Authority unless they opt out within six months of that date.
