Section 12. Withdrawal of acceptance

If, after accepting an application but before registration, the Registrar becomes satisfied that the acceptance was made in error, or that the geographical indication should not have been registered (or should be registered only with different or additional conditions), the Registrar may withdraw the acceptance after hearing the applicant if requested, and treat the application as though it had never been accepted.
