Section 28. Correction of register

On application by the registered proprietor or authorised user, the Registrar may correct errors in the name, address, or description recorded on the register, or any other entry relating to the geographical indication; enter changes in the name, address, or description of the registered proprietor; cancel a geographical indication’s entry; or strike out goods or classes of goods from the registration.

The Registrar may make any resulting consequential amendment to the certificate of registration, and may require the certificate to be produced for that purpose.
