Section 69. Evidence of entries in register, etc., and things done by the Registrar
A copy of any register entry, or of any document referred to in section 78(1), certified by the Registrar and sealed with the Geographical Indications Registry’s seal, is admissible in evidence in all courts and proceedings without further proof or production of the original.
A certificate under the Registrar’s hand as to any entry, matter, or thing he is authorised to make or do is prima facie evidence that the entry was made and of its contents, or that the matter or thing was done or not done.
