Section 81. Savings in respect of certain matters in Chapter VIII
Nothing in Chapter VIII exempts a person from any suit or other proceeding that could otherwise be brought against them, nor does it make liable to prosecution or punishment a servant of a master resident in India who, acting in good faith on the master’s instructions, gives full information about the master and those instructions when demanded by or on behalf of the prosecution.
