Section 87. Abetment.
Whoever abets any offence under this Act, if the act abetted is committed in consequence of the abetment, shall be punished with the punishment provided for that offence.
Explanation.—For the purposes of this section, the expression “abetment” shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in Section 107 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
