Section 9. State Government to extend assistance to National Investigation Agency
(1) On receipt of the direction under sub-section (4) or sub-section (5) of section 6, the Director-General shall constitute one or more teams to take up the investigation and proceed to the spot of occurrence with expedition for investigation in such manner as he may deem fit.
(2) All officers of Central Government or a State Government shall assist the Agency in the discharge of its functions under this Act.
(3) The State Government and local authorities concerned shall extend all assistance and co-operation to the Agency for investigation of Scheduled Offences.
