136. Special provisions relating to convention applications
(1) Every convention application must: (a) be accompanied by a complete specification; (b) specify the date and convention country of the (first) application for protection; and (c) state that no application for protection had been made in a convention country before that date by the applicant or his predecessor in title.
(2) Subject to section 10, a complete specification filed with a convention application may include claims on developments of or additions to the invention, provided the applicant would be entitled under section 6 to make a separate application for them.
(3) A convention application cannot be post-dated under section 17(1) beyond the date on which it could otherwise have been made under this Act.
