Section 30. Right of advocates to practise
Subject to this Act, every advocate whose name is on the State roll is entitled as of right to practise throughout the territories to which this Act extends — (i) in all courts including the Supreme Court; (ii) before any tribunal or person legally authorised to take evidence; and (iii) before any other authority or person before whom the advocate is, by or under any law, entitled to practise.
Note: This section was brought into force only on 15 June 2011, decades after the rest of the Act — earlier, the right to practise before tribunals and other authorities was governed by other provisions and rules.
